![]() ![]() ![]() As the group advances along the castle, they are gradually separated from each other and Sakamoto is the only one who makes it to Takechi's study at the castle summit. In the ensuing battle, the four swordsmen face off in quick succession against Sasaki and the Mimawarigumi, Ito and the Goryoeji and a platoon of English Navy forces who'd been supplying the Loyalists with guns, led by merchant Thomas Glover. The team arrive at Yamauchi's castle and begin their raid. The following day, Sakamoto, Hijikata, Okita and Nagakura set sail for Tosa. Before they depart, Sakamoto spends a day with Oryo, where they go on a date at a local restaurant, a singing bar and finally they pray together at Kiyomizu Temple. Within a few weeks, the remaining Shinsengumi leaders have formulated a plan: They will sail to Tosa and assault Lord Yamauchi's palace, where he and Takechi are coordinating their plans to cause a war between the Sat-Cho and the Shogunate. ![]()
